"The man is the most intelligent species on earth but why does he/she destroys it" is one of Chin-Chin Gutierrez' statement in her concert.
By the above statement I could say that she's right. I mean right now people do not care that much of their environment. They just give much of their attention to the clothes they buy, the make-up they wear or to anything which is not worthy.
But hey! The environment is also part of the earth. I mean, without it we would die. We would die of hunger, of thirst, and of having no shelters which could somehow protect us from natural disasters. We are so naive about the benefits we get from our nature. Oh! I guess we are not naive but we are apathetic. We just care about ourselves.
Well for me it's hard. It's so hard living in this world with so many dirt and litters around. But what can I do? This is just the way we are - apathetic. But still I thank God because there are still people who love the environment so much. They truly devote themselves just to campaign their programs. I hope all people would be like them. The earth is where we live so let's love and give our care to it.

The Millennium Development Goals or MDG is indeed a very useful yet not given more focus. Well, maybe it has been given attention but still there are those needy people in the squatter’s area, those HIV /aids patients who still suffer, those battered and belittled women, those infants who die not even hearing their cries, and those mothers who try hard to deliver their babies. Where are the money and support that the government has allotted for these? Where did it go? Or should I say to whose pocket did it go? I mean, why can't we feel any difference from before? Even the environment experiences no change. Litters and garbage are still to be found. Some nations are still at war. Peace and unity is nowhere to be found. Children are used to doing mistakes which is clearly against the law for they know nothing. I surely know that the government is not only solving these problems, that these are just a part of the many things they solve each day. But should I blame myself for blaming them? All of these have been planned. And I do not know if these will soon be done or will just end up nothing but a plan.
